📰 Quick news
Polygon LM 2.0
We are part of the new liquidity mining program funded by the Polygon Foundation.
We will be receiving MATIC for the next 6 months, based on the evolution of our TVL and number of users.
The governance will need to decide what to do with these rewards, estimated at $120k at today’s price.
Polygon 💚
Polygon has always been at the forefront of innovation.

After the massive success of Liquidity Mining 1.0, #Polygon has launched the first-ever KPI-based Liquidity Mining 2.0 campaign in the form of yield farming for protocols.

Deposit moo2sgd and borrow jSGD:
🏧to off-ramp it on @mtpelerin (or swap for XSGD and off-ramp on @xfers)
➿to deposit it in the 2sgd pool to gain leverage
🛡️to sell it for hedging https://t.co/hmk86Q3NTd
A new article published on Cointelegraph
Our last article on Cointelegraph is about cross-border payments and remittances powered by our on-chain Forex market and by our liquidity infrastructure (the different pools on Curve).
It explains how we can leverage decentralized finance to build a backend that can perform cross-border payments with more efficiency, fewer fees, and fewer risks than traditional remittance systems.
Remittance is the second most important use case for our protocol.

$50M of transfers!
Users have transferred more than $50M worth of jFIATs on Polygon. Transfers are movement between two addresses.

DeFi as a backend: a new case-study with the 2brl pool
Romeu, our Brazilian community manager, demonstrates how the combination a fiat-backed stablecoins, a concentrated liquidity pool with our synthetic equivalent, and a DEX aggregator, can rivals with the most popular CEX in Brazil in terms of price!
Jarvis Network 🧪
Another day, another demonstration of the power of a fiat-backed stablecoin combined with its jFIAT equivalence.

In this thread in Portuguese, we show how @BrzToken + @OficialAlter + @Ellipsisfi + @paraswap + $jBRL is better than CEX to buy $ETH.

Minerva Wallet adds Mt Pelerin
We are happy to see our partner, Minerva Wallet, adding Mt Pelerin to their awesome wallet.
Minerva has added Beefy, Paraswap, Curve and Mt Pelerin, in addition to our stablecoins, and is de facto a perfect wallet for experiencing our ecosystem.

Dev
  • Our tests showed issues related to the interests generation because of the way Aave does the rounding; the issue has been fixed, and we are doing some final tests to make sure everything works as expected.
  • We have completed most of the Solidity code for the v2.1, which features the “MultiLPVault”. This vault is an LP that represents multiple LPs; in Synthereum v2, anyone can become an LP, but to be an LP, one must commit a minimum amount of funds, for example, $1M (decided by the governance); this vault enables multiple addresses to become an LP together.
📱 Apps
In general, we have been working on adjusting the whole stack around our UI package as well as fixing some of the components.
Exchange app
  • Last week we were busy fixing a nasty bug related to our Cloudflare setup, that prevented many users to launch the DEX on Trust Wallet, for example.
  • We fixed an issue related to fee calculations that prevented users to use the “max” button.
  • We have added the Mt Pellerin widget.
Borrowing app
We have also completed more work on the borrowing app.
🗳️ Governance
Discussions
  • p52: a discussion started about our strategy toward APWine; the project recently adopted the ve-model for its APW token, to influence the APW emission and therefore the APR, on their farming program.
Proposal
No vote last week.
